Paper Pleating at 4 Crafty Chicks

Good Morning! Yesterday was a crazy day weather wise.  We had sun, rain, hail, wind, rainbows and I saw three funnel clouds forming outside of Edmonton yesterday! Driving threw the heavy rain was not fun at all.  My cousin took a picture of a water spout at Pigeon Lake, we don't normally see these.

Let's hope the weather is a little nicer today.  The best part of my day will be sharing my post with everyone and hopefully working out, as I am in for another stressful day....I am going to try to smile through it but some days it just seems so impossible.

At 4 Crafty Chicks we have another fun challenge this week.  It is brought to us by our talented Melissa.

CHALLENGE #146 - PAPER PLEATING

I have only ever done this type of paper pleating as a child.  I found a video on uTube that showed me two ways of doing it.  One way wetting the paper, crumpling  it up, letting it dry and then folding it or folding it and highlighting it with your ink.  I chose to do the second one.  My card stock is bashful blue, night of navy and crumb cake.  I made this card while cyber crafting with Leanne and chatting with Lori.

Be sure to check out 4 Crafty Chicks as our new GDT has another fabulous piece of work for you and for even more inspiration my fellow chicks have out done themselves.  We would love to see what this challenge inspires in you.

Have an amazing week, enjoy the journey and whatever you do don't forget to smile.

Thanks for stopping in and supporting my creations.

4 Crafty Chicks and Make It Monday

Good Morning to everyone! We had another thunderstorm last night with some very high winds and quite a bit of rain again. Not sure what the weather holds for us today but I am sure there will be sun some where in the forecast right?  So this week has been busy but it sure did have a special highlight for me.  My mom Bonnie, my daughter Kaitlyn and my middle son Robin went to see Diana a Celebration at West Edmonton mall. My kids had to write essays as they were missing school and they both did an amazing job.  I loved Princess Diana as a little girl and admired her work as an adult, so it was so much fun to learn about her childhood, see her wedding dress and countless others memorabilia and oh so much more.  It was a day of memories.  Okay enough about what I did this week and onto the good stuff 4 Crafty Chicks.

We would like to welcome our Guest Designer Nick from Nick's Scrap Shack. We will get to see 4 creations for the month of June.

Our beautiful hostess again this week is our one and only Leanne.  Now on this particular challenge I truly believe she is the Queen.  We are on Challenge #145...are you ready to here what the Challenge is?

Challenge  #145 - Flowers

Leanne just has a magical touch with working with flowers.  My fellow DT's are amazing too but I have to give this one over to Leanne she is totally the queen, there aren't to many creations without Flowers...she gets totally giddy over them...LOL.  Thank you Leanne, I truly did try to make some of my own, with several that didn't work out, a couple that looked like owl eyes, it was pretty funny.  So I incorporated an embossing folder with flowers on and an attempt at using punches to make a flowers.  All products are from SU! Rich razzleberry; basic black and vanilla with a splash of bling! It is another crisp, clean lined kind of card.
I would like to enter my card into Make It Monday - #143 - Anything Goes

We hope you will join us at 4 Crafty Chicks where you can make cards; scrapbook layouts, 3D items...  I would truly love to hope on over and see what our Flower challenge inspires in you.

Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing this creation with me.

Have an amazing day! A smile is coming you way!!

Thanks For Making Me Smile and 4 Crafty Chicks

Good, Good Morning! Can you believe that we are on the last Thursday of May?  Not sure where May has went but poof it is almost gone.  How was your week?  My week was another eventful one. It included a trip to the hospital for my oldest, an allergy/asthma attack for my daughter, running around, going to an art/music festival and watching the rain poor down and flood the streets in Wetaskiwin.  It was crazy to drive in!  The nice part about this last week was that I did find a little bit of time to cyber craft with Leanne and spending sometime with my brother, my parents and aunt and uncle.

We are having another fun challenge this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks.  We are on the 5th Thursday of May so that means it is our Crazy Egg challenge! Our fantastic hostess is Leanne! She has an outstanding challenge for us, do you want to hear what it is?
CHALLENGE #143
3R's - RECYCLING
(it can be 3D, scrapbooking, cards etc...)

Here is creation and what I found to use for this challenging challenge....*wink*.  Thanks Leanne for making me step out of my crafting box.  It is a great challenge!
The lace was saved from an old table cloth and recycled the buttons from an old card.  The oval sentiment was one I stamped but never used.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenge:
Make It Monday - Anything Goes

My fellow DT's have even more amazing creations to share with you.  They had fun with this challenge too.  We would love to see what you create and I would love to share your creation with you.  Hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks let us know what this challenge inspires in you.
Thanks for sharing my creation with me.

A smile is being sent your way, have an amazing day and enjoy the Journey!!

Critters over at 4 Crafty Chicks.

Good morning! We have had gorgeous weather all week and even though it is windy out it is helping to keep those pesky mosquito's away. Last week was an good week, my oldest got to go back to school on Wednesday from his eye injury (we were blessed with no permanent damage, he was happy to be back at school after 11 days of bed rest), our daughter no longer has to go to physio or to the specialist for her knees and she didn't break her finger, my stitches came out, not as expected but they are out and my hubby and my middle son are feeling better.  Yep, things are lookin up I must say.  What else can I update you with....I am on my 3rd week of boot camp and loving it, it is an on-line boot camp and the coaches are awesome.  Enough of my happy blabbing and onto what is really important...4 Crafty Chicks.

Our hostess with the mostess this week is non other than our chick Lori and does she have one fun challenge for us! It is a challenge we have never had before and well Lori you got me really thinking about what stamps to use.  Thank you!

CHALLENGE #143 - CRITTERS
 (any animal)

This card was made for my anniversary that was on Saturday!  The reason why I loved this challenge so much was it got me thinking back to the many animals that I have seen over the years with my husband.  The first time we were in Victoria, BC visiting my sister, Rob and I were lucky enough to have an evening to ourselves.  As we were sitting on a bench by the water, we saw our first raccoon, it was super interesting to watch.  It truly was a great memory.  So for my critter it had to be a raccoons and low and behold it was in my stamp set from Stampin Up .

All products from Stampin Up: paper: Early Epresso, Whisper White and So Saffron, punches, stamps, wine, embossing folder, paper piercer, daubers and ink.

I would love to enter my card into Make It Mondays Challenge - #141 - Anything Goes.

Be sure to join us at 4 Crafty Chicks, we would love to come hopping over to your blog and also we would love to see what this Critter challenge inspires in you. Hope you like it as much as I did.

Thank you so much for sharing in my life and my creations with me.  A huge smile is being sent your way!!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by the wild fires and also the tornadoes that have been causing so much damage.

Happy Birthday!

Good Morning fellow crafters! It is hard to believe we are back at Thursday again but here we are and I get to be your hostess over at 4 Crafty Chicks. We would love it if you hopped on over and played with us this week.

Birthday cards are always in need, so I thought why not challenge everyone to a birthday card.  It can be girlie, boyish, masculine, bright, elegant, textured and oh so much more.  On Sunday my dad turned 83 and last Thursday was my grandma turned 92.  We have a few more birthdays this month too and quite a few anniversaries.
Challenge #142
Birthday
My Grandma loves to garden and truly she has a green thumb.  She grows the best veggies and has some of the best fruit.  Her flowers are just stunning. Every spring she looks so forward to getting out into her garden.  My dad also loves to garden but this particular card is going to my grandma, for I always loved eating strawberries out of the berry patch.  Unfortunately, I don't have a green thumb but I do soooooooo appreciate the beautiful flowers and great fresh food.

Here is card #1, it is made with all Stampin Up products.
Here is a second card with some pearls, I am partial to the top one but I hope you like both.
I would love to enter my card into Make It Monday - Anything Goes

It is another crazy week here for me as always watching the clock and running to appointments during the day, with a little bit of time here at home to get stuff accomplished and then off to activities in the evening. Today is no exception but it will be a good day. Can you believe that we are half way done May?  The time is going by so fast, only a month in a half until school is done.  So whatever you are doing, may it be filled with sunshine, smiles and joy!

We would love it if you hopped on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and played with Leanne, Lori, Melissa and I.  It is always so much fun coming to see your blogs.

Have an amazing day and thank you for stopping in.

Life is a Journey....

Good morning! It has been a beautiful week filled with tons of sunshine and surprising temperatures.  It is amazing how the sun can make one smile and even though life is throwing you a bunch of curve balls how it can be the bright spot in your day!  Life has been throwing our family quite a few curves lately and somehow this sentiment on my card just seems fitting.

Over at 4 Crafty Chicks this week Melissa is our hostess with the mostess and she is supplying us with an amazing color combo.  Nice bright and fun colors for spring time.  It allowed me to break out some of my pattern paper that hasn't been used in quite some time.

Here is my card below, not to much fancy about it but I did break out 3 pattern papers, two layers of textures created with embossing folders, markers for the sentiment and pearls to add to the pop.  The card is crisp clean lines but is full of layers.  Hope you like it.
Paper: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Tangerine Tango, Rich Razzleberry and So Saffron (all stampin up)  Ink: Tangerine Tango and Rich Razzleberry; Accessories: Pop ups, pearls, two cuttlebug embossing folders.

I would love to enter my card into Make It Monday - #139 - Anything Goes

I hope you would hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and see what my fellow DT's have created, you won't be disappointed.  We would love to see what these colors bring out in you.

Have an amazing week!
This #craft quote is totally true!

Who's A Little Star!

Good morning, it is indeed a glorious day here! The temperature is going to be well above zero which is going to be fantastic.  Who doesn't love warm weather? Bring it on baby....LOL.

We are on Challenge #140 this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks and along with that special number we are looking for anyone who would like to be a guess designer for us in June, July and August. We will be picking a GDT one for each month. Our wonderful hostess this week is Leanne and she has an awesome challenge.  Can you guess it?

CHALLENGE #140 - STARS

My card below is full of stars.  The pattern paper is from a paper pack but honestly the front/back isn't on it so I am not sure what name brand it is. I love it so much and thought it would go perfectly with this little giraffe. Isn't he cute?  The star punches are from stampin up and so are the brads, other papers (not pattern paper).  Thanks mom for letting me borrow your star punches.  All in all this card is full of stars and it perfect for any little ones birthday.

I would like to enter my card into Make It Monday - #138 - Anything Goes

We would love to see that what you create.  Please hop on over and join us this week at 4 Crafty Chicks.  If you would like to join us as Guest Designer, we will be picking 3 so make sure to add GDT behind your name.  Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Thank you so much for stopping in to share my creation with me.

Happy Wedding

Good Morning! It has been a crazy busy week here and next week is going to get busier with even more appointments and new sporting advents happening, business meetings and more. Congratulations to our oldest as he started his new job on Tuesday and to our youngest as she won a contest on the radio. It has been so nice to cherish the little things that make me smile in the face of adversity.

Today is Thrusday and that means a brand new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks  and our hostess this week is our talented Lori.  She has Challenge # 139 for us.  Are you ready to hear what it is?  It is a gooder, Lori would like us to use Felt on our projects. You can create a card, scrapbook page,

On the weekend I went shopping with Lori and Leanne, we found a few brand new craft stores that we gave plenty of attention to...LOL.  In the one store there was so many different kinds of felt products and well the wedding pack just had to come home with me to use.  I used only 3 pieces from the collection but it does make for a wonderful wedding card layout.  Couldn't help but break out some more embossing folders to add some texture behind the cake and the next layer. The paper is creamy caramel, vanilla and white all from Stampin Up.

I would like to enter my card into Make It Monday - #137 - Anything Goes

Another 40th birthday card from my very good friend Lori.  It has all of the colors, I like and the stamp is one that we bought together while shopping over a month in a half ago and she colored here one night.  It was a fantastic surprise to see this is the card, I received for my birthday.  SIMPLY ADORED!! Thank you very much for the wonderful card and for adding to my birthday. If you would like to see more of her creations hop on over to Inkingly Yours.

Hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks to join us for another new fun filled challenge! I look forward to seeing your blogs and what our Felt challenge inspires in you.
What will you make today?
Thank you to everyone who has stopped by to share my card with me this week. Have an amazing week.

Lovely as a Tree

Hellooooooo! Can you believe we are already back to Thursday? The weeks are just flying by and boy the schedules with the kids are picking up.  Not so much what they are doing but extra appointments and stuff.  So last week when I was away at a convention for my husbands work, we went from sunny and a little chilly to a blizzard, nice on Friday and then another blizzard.  The weather is changing constantly but spring is calling my name.  I was incredibly proud of the Wetaskiwin Credit Union as they won an award, which is tough for the smaller guys to do at the Alberta AGM.  We were also proud of our oldest son as he tried out for Team Alberta (basketball) and made it to the final cut of 10 kids, he did awesome for being injured. Our daughter Kaitlyn turned 11 (growing up way to fast) and our middle son had a great time with his Tae Kwon Do.  My mom narrowly survived with her life, for some reason the dish washer had it out for her, jumped out and attacked her good. (Sorry mom and thank you for all you do).

Seeing the sunny skies and starting to see the green grass, has me looking for some buds on the trees anything besides the geese to show me that the s*** will leave and stay gone for a while.  As hostess this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks, my idea was to celebrate Trees for our challenge #138.

My card below is stamped with Lovely as a Tree, paper is Chocolate Chip, Vanilla and Crumb Cake.  I had fun putting texture to this.  Mom thank you so much for the new embossing folder from stamping up.

Over at 4 Crafty Chicks Leanne, Lori, Melissa and Sue have out done themselves and have some amazing inspiration for you.  Come on out and play, it is going to be fun to see what you create.

I would love to enter this card into Make it Monday - Anything Goes.

Thank you for sharing my creation with me.

P.S.  I am grateful for all of you!

Happily Ever After!

Hello from the Camp house hold! We are in the middle of our Easter holidays here and well I must say it has been a busy one.  Spring clean inside and outside of the house, getting out of the house and exercising, celebrating birthdays and having amazing company :)  When we looked outside last night we noticed that we were getting our first heavy spring rain.  It has taken quite a bit of the snow off of our yard....yahooooo! The birds are starting to twitter pate and the geese having been going over our house like crazy.  Enough of my yapping and onto my new card and a new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks this week.

So this week over at 4 Crafty Chicks we have a challenge that well, I must say, I don't use near enough of these.  Our incredibly talented hostess with the mostess this week is Leanne from Banking On Crafts.  She has asked us for Challenge #136 to use CHARMS!  We are also welcoming our new Guest Designer for the month of April and her name is Sue

Low and behold when I was going thru my stash of stuff looking for charms, I find this nice little package that Miss. Leanne gave me for Christmas.  It was too perfect, thanks for giving me these charms Lan and saving my butt for this challenge. The charms she gave me are all different styles of hearts and they are super wonderful.  My card is made with paper, ink and embossing folder are from Stampin Up (Night of Navy, Basic Grey and Whisper white), ink is Night of Navy, embossing.  Now if anyone could help me my Night of Navy always looks purple when I take of picture of it...any idea's?  Accessories are the Twine and charm :).  The Stamps used are from Inkadinkado -Wedding.

On a special note I have a few very, very special people I would love to thank for my homemade 40th Birthday cards.  These cards will always be treasured by me. There have been cards over the years that I have been saving to frame and I do believe these two will be in that frame.  Now to find suitable frame.  Turning 40 this past weekend was a hard one for me.  When I turned 30 it wasn't bad but turning 40 was really hard, had me in tears often and down. For quite a few of my friends it was turning 30 that was the problem and not 40 (they embraced it and well hmmm...I didn't). There has also been so much going on in our lives that I think everything just got to be too much and the expectations of me. The goals I set for when I turned 40 were not met but I am trying to tell those Negative thoughts to go take a Hike.  All in all my birthday was good spent with my family, we went shopping, bowling and out for supper.

My mom in the last few months has pumped out over 200 cards..she is amazing! She makes cards for all of my grandma, my aunts and uncles, my brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and great for both.  My mom makes, anniversary, Christmas, Easter, Valentines Days, birthdays and truly makes everyone feel special because she took the time to make them.  Thank you so much for everything you have created for my kids, husband and myself.  Each item being unique and very special.

Bonnie Stewart - My Mom...who needs to get a blog of her own *wink*

Leanne when I went to the mail yesterday, granted a few days after my birthday.  There was a huge surprise for me parcel pick up slip.  Boy was I thinking man I've been good and didn't order anything...low and behold it was a card from my dear friend Leanne.  Well giddy with excitement as always to get something fun in the mail, it was quickly opened.  To quote Robin and his friend Dylan..."that is sick"...which means it is totally cool. Then came the questions of if I could create cards like this.  Well I said no mine are different but Leanne really knows how to put details onto a card that make them picture perfect.  Lori I totally know what you meanT when you said to me over a week ago that this card I would want to frame and I DO!

Leanne took my desire for reading (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT) and crafted it into this amazing book on this card. The paper is perfect, the book, distressing, ribbon, flowers, pearls, charm, sentiment are super phenomenal.  I have treasured the cards you have made me over the years Leanne but this one is truly my favorite.  Thank you so much to adding to my special day!  Too check out her amazing creations please click on her name and it will take you to her blog.
I would love to enter my card over at Make It Monday - Anything Goes (sorry for not commenting last week my blogger wasn't working for me) and Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes

Be sure to hop on over to 4 Crafty Chicks to see the master pieces of the other girls.  They sure do have some inspiration for you!  I would love to hop on over to visit you too.

Thank you so much for having patience on this super long post and for celebrating my card with me.

Rejoice

Today is Thursday, where has the week gone. Although it has gone by fast it seems like it has been an extremely long one.  Quite a few of my family and friends kids are on spring break holidays now but for my kids today is their last day of school, then we have a full week off.  One more blessing today is that it is supposed to be +10 out and simply gorgeous.  Maybe spring is one the horizon. Tomorrow is good Friday, but it also a very special day for my family.  We were blessed to have another son, 14 years have gone by in a blink of an eye.  He is super excited to have the day off of school.  Happy Birthday Robin.  HAPPY EASTER to all of my followers and to everyone who pops on in for a visit.

Being as it is Thursday, over at 4 Crafty Chicks we have a new fun filled challenge.  Our beautiful hostess this week is Lori and she certainly has the perfect challenge for this time of year.  We are on Challenge # 135 and the theme is Easter.  It can be anything that relates to Easter. Our Guest Designer for the month of March is Christine and it has been absolutely amazing, thank you so much for sharing your craftiness with us this month.

My creation for you.  I have a few very cute Easter Stamps but no Happy Easter sentiment stamp...how does that happen.  So my creation this week kind of represents the love of God.  Two of my kids are kind of doing something like the last supper type at their school today, so I thought it is the perfect time to rejoice.

I would like to enter my card into Make It Monday - Anything Goes

I can't wait to see what you come up with and would love to pop on over to your blog and see your wonderful creations.

HAVE AN AMAZING EASTER BREAK OR LONG WEEKEND!!

Celebrate!

Good morning to ya! We are in a Snowfall warning this morning! Wait a minute I thought yesterday was the first day of Spring.  A little joke on us I guess with the easier Winter we have had, well for some of us anyway.

It is my lucky week to host over at 4 Crafty Chicks this week.  The challenge is #134 and it is to use Circles. Well I am not sure that my card turned out how it was visioned in my head. Hopefully it is okay. The gems aren't as sparkly as I thought they would be...oh how I wanted to bling it up :) Maybe some texture was needed at the top part of the card or a different stamp...hmmm, just not sure.  My daughter said Mom there is just to much white...LOL. I used a little circle punch from Stampin Up and a old stamp from them as well.  The bling is also from Stampin Up.  Going to have to break out some more circles, they do make creations pop! My card is below :)

Be sure to check 4 Crafty Chicks out...I would totally love to hop on over to see what circles inspires in you.

This made me giggle on Facebook.

Hello Baby!

Good, Good Morning! It has been a busy week but an exciting one all of the same.  We are lucky to have a long weekend, no school tomorrow or Monday.  We are expecting a snow storm with quite a bit of snow and very cool temperatures thru to the weekend.  Frankly, I am ready for spring but I guess Mother Nature has a little more white stuff for us.

Last week there were so many awesome and very inspirational creations over at 4 Crafty Chicks be sure to hop on over and check some out. We also have a new challenge this week and our hostess with the mostess is Melissa.  She has another fun filled challenge and truly an easy one..well sort of *wink*.  Are you ready to see what it is?

CHALLENGE #133 - Clean and Simple

During a fun shopping trip with my friend Lori,  I found this adorable giraffe and thought it was just perfect for one of the little boys our family just welcomed into the world.  Isn't he just cute?  I went with straight crisp lines and used crumb cake, early espresso, bashful blue and whisper white for papers.  I also used some eyelets, twine and copic markers.  Super glad Lori was creating with me because there was a need to tell me how to use my eyelet machine...LOL.  Guess it had been while :) Thanks for an awesome challenge Melissa.

I would love to enter my card into the following fantastic challenges:
 Papertake Weekly - 1-2-3
1.  Twine 2. Eyelets 3. Layers or 3 colors of paper :)

2. Make It Monday - #131 - Anything Goes

We truly hope you will hope on over to 4 Crafty Chicks and show us what Clean and Simple inspires win you.  My fellow DT's have amazing creations to show you too.

I found this quote on Facebook and thought it was funny.

With Sympathy

Welcome March! It is hard to believe we are almost finished our first week but alas it is very true. Spring is on it way...yahooo :)  Well the last week has been a crazy one of incredible highs and some lows.  Last Saturday my oldest son Tristan and his Junior Boys High School Basketball team won Gold at Zones.  It is the first time in 33 years or maybe longer that our 3A school has won a championship like this. Usually it is won by the 4A schools. Truly something for them to be proud of.  One of the low notes was that I got a phone call from my daughters school asking me to come and pick her up because she fell and hurt her knee bad and needed to go too the hospital.  Kaitlyn didn't crack her knee cap but she has too much fluid behind it so she can't swim for two weeks, no gym, no dishes, no vaccuming and she has had to take two days off of school. We thought she might enjoy the two days off but alas she is going nuts. She is now walking with crutches which is a good thing but it could still end up being casted. We were blessed for sure. Enough of my babbling on to my DT card and a new challenge over at 4 Crafty Chicks.

Over at 4 Crafty Chicks our incredible hostess with the mostess is Leanne. She has another fantabulous challenge for us.  I do believe Leanne along with my fellow DT's are the queen's of using these tools on their creations.  Welcome to our Guest Designer Christine for the month of March.  She is going to have tons of inspiration for you. Are you ready to find out what the challenge is this week?  Okay, I will tell you...because I just can't keep it a secret any longer.

CHALLENGE #132 - Die Cuts

On this card the Die cuts I used are from Heartfelt Creations (Decorative Butterfly).  My large butterfly and the corners are from this Spellbinders set.  My other butterflies are from Martha Stewart punches.  The stamp is from Verve.  The paper and embossing folder are from Stampin Up.  The gems are unknown.  I started this card with my peep Lori, which was a relaxing night of crafting.
I would love to enter my card into Challenges 4 Everybody - Challenge #15 - Anything Goes; Make It Monday - Challenge #130 - Anything Goes ; Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is a picture my bestie Lori posted on facebook.  It made me smile so much my cheeks hurt. I truly hope it doesn't offend anyone...but oh how I love glitter :)  Thought about going crazy with it on my card this week...LOL.

Ice Cream & Pickles

Hello Thursday, how we have missed you! I am struggling to believe that we are on the last Thursday of February.  As my daughter pointed out to me, they only have 4 months left of school.  Boy was I in a little bit of shock but you know Kaitlyn is right.  We had our usual running around but I was able to visit with a friend while waiting for my daughter to finish swimming, twice last week. On the weekend however, I had a few surprises my nephew and brother came for a visit, so did my friend Lori and her daughter.  The younger girls did some baking and oh was it ever fabulous.  The wee bit older girls *wink* went shopping and well of course that included a stop to the craft store, good coffee, and most of all fabulous company equaled one fun filled weekend.

Each Thursday, I look forward to revealing the challenge and my DT creation for 4 Crafty Chicks.  We are on Challenge #131 and our fantastic hostess is Lori.  She has another awesome challenge for us.  Lori is asking us to do some stitching - real or faux.

When we went to the craft store we bought a few new stamps and this is one of them. It is from Saturated Canary - Ice Cream & Pickles, isn't she cute? Boy was it ever a ton of fun coloring her.  I originally bought a little hand held sewing machine.  Broke it out for this challenge but neither myself or Lori could figure out how to get it to sew in a straight line. It would only go in a circle, obviously it was the person running it...LOL.  Needless to say my mom will be getting a call to please, please help me....LOL.  Here is my creation with my Faux stitching, new stamp and new pattern papers. Don't you just love 6X6 paper pads.  Hope you like this one as much as I do.  Thanks Lori for coloring with me, not to mention the shopping.

I would like to share my card with the everyone over at Make It Monday #129- Anything Goes

Be sure to stop by 4 Crafty Chicks and show us what stitching inspires in you. I would love to come over to your blog and see your wonderful creation.

Thank you so much for sharing my creation with me.

Thought this was perfect for this week challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.
Sew, that's the plan, eh? :) #posters #keep_calm #advice #sayings #quotes #sewing #crafts
